Tesla Expands FSD Supervised System to Chinese Market
NextFin News — Tesla Inc. officially expanded the availability of its Full Self-Driving Supervised system to China on Thursday by explicitly adding the country to its global market access list, marking a major regulatory milestone for the automaker's driver-assistance technology.
The software is now officially listed as active for China, though Tesla has not yet specified a firm public rollout date for standard local customers.
The company is currently completing localized mapping adaptations and strict domestic data compliance protocols to clear final regulatory hurdles. Internal projections indicate that the technical team is targeting comprehensive operational deployment across major Chinese municipal hubs by the third quarter of 2026.
FDS Supervised has been available in the United States and Canada since 2022.
