MemTensor Secures 100 Million Yuan Pre-A Funding Led by Huawei Hubble and Honor
TMTPOST — MemTensor completed a Pre-A financing round of 100 million yuan ($13.8 million) on Monday to advance its artificial intelligence memory operating system and accelerate commercial deployment.
The venture round attracted strategic investments from Huawei Hubble, Honor Investment, SenseTime Guoxiang, Shenzhen Capital Group, and MSA Capital, pushing total funds raised to several hundred million yuan. The developer will deploy the proceeds to iterate its proprietary MemOS architecture, productize autonomous agent infrastructure, and engineer memory-native foundation models. These funds will also support pilot deployments across key enterprise verticals, optimizing model inference speeds and expanding dynamic context retention mechanisms for large language models.
Artificial intelligence hardware manufacturers and enterprise developers are turning toward contextual memory frameworks to overcome fundamental architectural constraints in modern foundation models. As context window expansion increases latency and compute costs during inference, specialized memory infrastructure provides a dynamic layer for real-time state caching and retrieval. Strategic backing from major mobile device makers and semiconductor-affiliated funds indicates a growing effort to embed standardized memory operating systems into edge hardware and consumer ecosystems.
