Unitree Flags FCC Risk For Future Robot Lines
TMTPOST — Unitree Robotics disclosed in an updated prospectus filing on Thursday that impending restrictions by federal regulators will block uncertified hardware variants. The United States Federal Communications Commission has expanded its regulated equipment list to cover foreign-manufactured advanced robotics and power inverters. Existing hardware models including the G1, H2, and R1 humanoids alongside the Go2, B2, and A2 quadrupeds have already secured necessary compliance certifications, allowing uninterrupted commercial distribution across American markets. Future pipeline models developed outside domestic jurisdictions face strict commercial barriers unless granted targeted regulatory waivers or conditional authorizations.
