TMTPOST — Alibaba’s Qwen Open Platform went live on Monday, opening service access for mobile phones, PCs and AI glasses to ecosystem partners and developers. Third parties can create AI agents that appear as independent conversation spaces inside the Qwen app, enabling users to move from inquiry and recommendation through to order fulfillment. Access is available by tagging the relevant service in a chat or by selecting the agent via a corner icon. The first cohort of partners spans logistics, real estate, local services, wealth management, automotive and more than ten other sectors. The platform extends Qwen’s reach beyond its own applications into third-party terminal experiences, allowing partners to embed transactional services directly into conversational interfaces across the three device categories. The move follows recent expansions of Qwen capabilities into enterprise agents and hardware such as AI glasses, positioning the model as a multi-endpoint service layer for commercial use cases.
