Xinjie Energy Closes Over $100 Million Series B for Solid-State Batteries
TMTPOST — Solid-state battery developer Xinjie Energy has completed a Series B financing of more than $100 million, according to an announcement from lead investor Puhua Capital on Thursday.
Proceeds will support mass production and continuous delivery of lithium-metal solid-state batteries, expansion of the research and development team, and construction of a new 3 GWh high-energy, high-safety solid-state battery production line. The additional capacity is scheduled to come online between the end of 2026 and early 2027.
Founded in 2020 and based in Shenzhen, Xinjie Energy specializes in high-energy-density lithium-metal solid-state batteries targeting applications in electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, embodied robots, consumer electronics and other advanced mobility sectors. The company has already established production lines and begun commercial deliveries of its cylindrical solid-state cells.
