TMTPOST — China’s industrial robot production increased 28.5 percent year on year in the first seven months of 2026, National Bureau of Statistics spokesperson Fu Linghui said at a State Council Information Office briefing on Monday. Equipment manufacturing and high-tech manufacturing maintained solid growth momentum over the period. Output of 3D printing equipment rose 52.3 percent and lithium-ion battery production climbed 40.2 percent, according to the same data. The figures highlight continued expansion in advanced manufacturing and automation-related sectors even as broader industrial activity faces mixed demand conditions.
