China-ASEAN Trade in 2025 Surpasses $1 Billion Mark
TMTPOST -- The bilateral trade between China and ASEAN is projected to exceed $1 trillion for the first time in 2025, reaching $1.05 trillion, a year-on-year increase of 7.4%, according to Chinese authorities.
China has maintained its position as ASEAN's largest trading partner for 17 consecutive years, while ASEAN has remained China's largest trading partner for six consecutive years, according to the State Council Information Office on Tuesday.
From January to July of this year, the total trade between China and ASEAN hit $744.41 billion, a year-on-year increase of 24.7%, accounting for 21.8% of China's total foreign trade during the same period.
