TMTPOST — Modsi Intelligent has completed a Pre-A financing round exceeding 1 billion yuan, the company announced on October 12. The round was led by Huakong Fund, with participation from CDB Science & Technology Innovation, Shanghai Science & Technology Innovation Fund, Xinwei Capital, Xuhui Capital, Zhuiguang Hard Tech Venture Capital, Lingang Ceyuan Fund and others. Existing shareholders including Yuanhe Holdings, Shanghai Science & Technology Innovation Group and Xinglian Capital continued to invest. Multi-Dimensional Capital acted as exclusive financial adviser. Proceeds will support research and development of full-modal real-time interactive intelligence and global commercialization. Founded by Fudan University professor Qiu Xipeng as founder and chief scientist and incubated from the OpenMOSS team in late 2024, the company is developing models in speech, vision and real-time multimodal areas and plans to launch the MOSS Live real-time interactive system.
