TMTPOST — JD Industrial and AMD signed a strategic cooperation agreement on October 13 at the 26th China International Industry Fair in Shanghai to deepen collaboration on industrial large models and intelligent computing hardware. Under the agreement, JD Industrial’s industrial large model will undergo adaptation and collaborative optimization with AMD’s Ryzen AI Max series processors. The partners will jointly develop AI terminal products and applications for factory and workshop edge-computing environments, covering scenarios such as smart manufacturing, predictive equipment maintenance, industrial visual quality inspection, safety patrols, intelligent production scheduling and supply-chain coordination. The collaboration aims to achieve integrated edge deployment and scaled commercial use of industrial large models, while also exploring industrial world-model technologies and supporting global channel promotion for related products.
